TREE SALES ASSOCIATE
Job Description: As a Tree Sales Associate, you will assist in maintaining a beautiful and healthy selection of container and B&B trees for our customers. Your primary responsibilities will include selling and caring for various trees, watering, and assisting customers with plant selection. This position provides an excellent opportunity to work outdoors, learn about various trees, and develop strong customer service skills. You will be required to work outdoors and can lift 25-40 lbs. consistently throughout the day.
Key Responsibilities:
Providing superb customer service and helpful information and advice on selling tree inventory.
Learning to identify various trees and where and how they will thrive in Oklahomas grueling weather.
Ensuring plant materials are properly priced and signed.
Learning to identify tree problems such as insects and disease, and how to treat/prevent.
Assisting in the planting, watering, pruning, and maintenance of container and B&B trees.
Moving materials and loading/unloading shipments for placement in the trees sales area.
Adhering to safety regulations and policies and notifying the Yard Manager of unsafe environments and practices.
Providing inventory counts for the inventory management process as requested.
Performing other duties as necessary.
