Leasing Financial Analyst
Overview:
The Leasing Financial Analyst plays a vital role in supporting the Leasing Department's objectives and contributing to the successful execution of strategic goals. This role involves preparing financial and leasing analyses, managing lease approval documentation, tracking project progress, coordinating departmental activities, and assisting with the overall planning and execution of leasing transactions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Compile and update economic deal terms and other relevant documents for leases currently under negotiation.
- Prepare lease request approval forms for new tenant leases for review and approval by senior leasing team members and management.
- Assist in managing and updating the leasing pipeline, which includes tracking all active new lease and renewal transactions.
- Generate and assist in updating operational reports, including lease profiles, sales data, rent rolls, lease expiration details, exclusivity clauses, and tenant categories.
- Collaborate with leasing team members to develop targeted tenant prospect lists for the shopping centers within the portfolio.
- Help prepare leasing packages for prospective tenants, including market maps, demographic data, competitor profiles, traffic statistics, and location insights.
- Collect and report on market intelligence, including shopping center performance and tenant growth trends, using tools such as CreditIntel and Placer.
- Gather tenant financial information for review by the asset management team.
- Support the maintenance of listing agreements, process commission invoices, and manage relationships with brokers.
- Represent the company at industry events such as ICSC, webinars, etc.
- Assist the leasing department in preparing annual budgets.
- Support the marketing team in keeping website plans up to date.
- Undertake additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree, preferably in a finance-related field.
- At least 2 years of experience in commercial real estate.
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Excel, including the ability to create and manipulate financial investment analyses.
- Familiarity with a variety of real estate industry concepts, practices, and procedures.
- Experience with AutoCAD, Adobe Photoshop, and Adobe PDF Editor is a plus.
Salary : $85,000 - $95,000
