Essential Functions
- Set up all garnishes for dishes and set-up trays.
- Stock all needed dishware.
- Maintain condition and cleanliness of work area.
- Promptly and efficiently reset trays.
- Maintain stock of dishware, silver, and linens.
- Responsible for setting up/breaking down station at the beginning and end of shift.
- Assist with special guest requests to ensure total guest satisfaction.
- Maintains communication between servers and kitchen associates.
- Maintain ticket times and ensure promptness with quote time.
- Maintain standard of plate presentation.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Knowledge of appropriate tray settings and service ware.
- Ability to perform repetitive tasks throughout shift.
- Ability to stand and walk for long periods of time.
- Ability to understand verbal English to comprehend basic guest requests. Ability to understand written English to read any caution or safety notices.
- Ability to grasp, lift, carry, and/or transport up to 50 lbs.
- No prior experience required.
- Ability to learn all menu items and garnishes.
- Ability to multi-task.
- Ability to self-motivate during slow periods.
- Ability to maintain composure during peak hours.
