Marcus Whitman CSD is seeking a dedicated and dynamic Long-Term Substitute Math Teacher to join our high school team. This position covers a leave of absence and requires someone who can effectively deliver engaging and rigorous math instruction, maintain classroom routines, and support student learning in alignment with our school's standards.
Responsibilities:
Teach high school-level math courses
Plan and deliver daily lessons aligned to curriculum and learning goals.
Assess student understanding and provide timely feedback and grades.
Maintain accurate records of attendance, assignments, and assessments.
Collaborate with other teachers and staff to support student achievement.
Communicate regularly with parents and guardians as needed.
Uphold classroom management and maintain a positive, respectful learning environment.
Job Qualifications
Must have or working toward NYS Math Certification.
