About the Position:
We are looking for a Facilities Supervisor to join the Marelli Southfield team, reporting directly to the Facilities Manager.
This position is based at our office in Southfield, MI.
As the Facilities Supervisor at Marelli, you will be responsible for overseeing the maintenance, operation, and safety of Marelli's facilities, ensuring alignment with operational objectives. The responsibilities for this position include supervising facilities and security staff, coordinating with various departments, and managing maintenance tasks to create a safe and efficient environment.
Your Responsibilities will be:- Lead the facilities team in conducting both regular maintenance and emergency repairs.
- Perform routine inspections to proactively identify and address any issues.
- Develop and manage maintenance schedules to minimize interruptions to business operations.
- Implement and oversee safety, health, and environmental policies.
- Maintain accurate records pertaining to maintenance and repairs.
- Respond swiftly to any emergency facilities matters.
- Administer vendor agreements and purchase orders, ensuring adherence to legal and organizational standards.
- Manage global vendor relationships, facility contracts, and associated documentation.
- Coordinate with vendors to uphold compliance and ensure high service quality.
- Monitor and report on facilities budgets, providing regular financial updates to support project execution.
- Administer utility budgets, ensuring precise allocation of expenses and adherence to organizational guidelines.
- Supervise data entry, project tracking, and facility renovation efforts.
- Coordinate office relocations, ensuring seamless transitions of furniture and equipment.
- Manage security systems and provide leadership to the onsite Security Team.
- Address facility inquiries and lead janitorial teams to ensure efficient operations.
- Maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) for the site and manage all related communications.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations, manage compliance checklists, and oversee preventative maintenance programs.
- Develop and implement safety and emergency initiatives, including drills and response plans.
- Manage office operations, maintaining appropriate stock levels of necessary supplies.
- Oversee office support functions, including vendor site visits and enhancements to the workplace experience.

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Facilities Management or a related field.

Demonstrated supervisory experience in facilities management.

Strong leadership, organizational, and multitasking skills.

Proficiency in facilities management software and tools.

Knowledgeable about building systems (HVAC, electrical) and safety regulations.
