About The Position
We are looking for a Finance Analyst to join the Finance team, reporting directly to the Plant Controller.
This position is based at our office in Pulaski TN.
As the Finance Analyst at Marelli, you will be responsible for analyzing financial data, creating financial models, and providing insightful reports that will support strategic decision-making and improve the financial performance of the organization.
Your Responsibilities Will Be
Financial Analysis: Conduct thorough analysis of financial statements, market trends, and economic conditions to provide strategic recommendations.
Budgeting and Forecasting: Assist in the development of annual budgets and long-term financial forecasts. Monitor and report on variances between actuals and forecasts, providing explanations and action plans as needed.
Financial Modelling: Build, maintain, and update financial models to support business cases, investment decisions, and strategic initiatives.
Reporting: Prepare financial reports, dashboards, and presentations for senior management, highlighting key insights and recommendations.
Cost Analysis: Analyze costs and recommend cost-saving measures. Identify areas of inefficiency and suggest process improvements.
Capex: Provides guidance, tracking, and maintaining of fixed assets and associated costs.
Performance Monitoring: Track financial performance indicators (KPIs) and perform variance analyses to identify trends, risks, and opportunities.
Collaboration: Work collaboratively with various departments, including operations, sales, and marketing, to gather necessary data and insights for comprehensive financial analysis. Support global service team as needed.
Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure compliance with financial regulations and company policies. Assist in identifying financial and operational risks and developing mitigation strategies.
What Qualifications You Will Bring
Education and Experience: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field. A master’s degree or professional certifications such as CFA or CPA is a plus. A minimum of 3 years of experience in financial analysis or a related role is required.
Other Skills That We Would Welcome
Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, financial modeling, and financial analysis techniques. Experience with financial software and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Onestream) is beneficial.
Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data and provide actionable insights.
Detail-Oriented: High degree of accuracy and attention to detail in preparing financial reports and analyses.
