Job Title : Factory IT Support Analyst
Location : Denison, TX
Details : 12-month contract with ongoing need, opportunity for direct hire, onsite position, 1
shift 8am-5pm
Job Summary : The Factory IT Support Analyst role provides a unique opportunity to support a multitude of initiatives for site-based manufacturing systems and applications. This role provides on-site factory, application, and data support for the Denison, TX facility as part of the Tracked Products group. The primary function of the role is to provide 1st line Factory / Facility systems & infrastructure support while being the liaison between the facility and additional IT groups. Additional opportunities will range from Cybersecurity, No-code / low-code Application Development, Data transformation, and visualization.
Responsibilities :
Work directly on technical problem identification and resolution.
Work independently or as part of a team on complex infrastructure technology components that may be used by one or more applications or systems.
Participate in integrated testing and acceptance of infrastructure components.
Work with vendors on the integration of purchased systems and / or infrastructure solutions.
Troubleshoot / upgrade / patch purchased solutions to resolve critical issues and / or remediate security gaps.
Design and implement processes, or process improvements, to aid in development and support.
Years of Experience and Education :
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, or Manufacturing with 4 years of IT factory-facing experience.
Alternatively, 5 years of working experience in lieu of a degree.
Skills Required :
1-2 years of demonstrated experience working in a manufacturing environment.
Strong communication skills and a positive customer support experience.
Strong teamworking skills and the ability to forge relationships with key IT organizations and suppliers.
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills, including a base understanding of PC configurations, images, and software installation practices.
Ability to configure and troubleshoot desktops, laptops, tablets, and printers.
Working knowledge of Microsoft Active Directory and basic networking skills.
Comfortable working in a manufacturing environment, including wearing appropriate safety equipment and navigating the environment safely.
Sense of urgency to resolve key outages or production line down situations, with occasional off-shift support activities when required.
Desired Skills :
1-3 years of experience with manufacturing applications (e.g., SAP, SAP ME, PINpoint, Lincoln Checkpoint / Weld Sequencer).
1-3 years of experience with Microsoft Applications (e.g., SharePoint, Power BI, PowerApps, Power Automate, Excel).
Working knowledge of Cisco network hardware and software.
General networking skills, such as TCP / IP settings on a PC, Cat5 wiring, VPN, and routers.
