- Manage and train front-of-house staff, including servers, hosts, and bartenders.
- Implement training development programs to enhance team skills and efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with food handling and safety regulations.
- Collaborate with the culinary team to maintain menu standards and promote special offerings.
- Utilize POS systems for efficient order processing and payment handling.
- Address guest inquiries and resolve any issues promptly to ensure a positive dining experience.
- Monitor inventory levels of front-of-house supplies and coordinate with management for reordering as necessary.
- Foster a team-oriented environment that encourages collaboration and communication among staff.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in restaurant management or as an assistant manager in a casual/fine dining setting.
- Strong knowledge of food handling practices and culinary operations.
- Experience with POS systems; familiarity with Aloha POS is a plus.
- Excellent team management skills with the ability to motivate and develop staff.
- Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
