Duties
- Primary Role Expectations:
- Advocate of the company mission, purpose, and core values in all activities and duties.
- Proactively solve problems and communicate with leadership.
- Develop a strategic plan to support growth with company initiatives and personal goals.
- Lead and manage all aspects of the Production include, but are not limited to:
- Management
- Oversees all areas of the plant to ensure and maintain high standards of quality,
- safety and service
- Regularly inspect daily opening and closing procedures, project completion, and
- plant and yard appearance
- Ability to lead two shift supervisors, production, and maintenance employees
- Sets the overall direction for the plant through long- and short-term goal planning
- Generate daily production reports to monitor efficiencies and promote continuous
- improvement
- Staff Development
- Identifies and implements training and development programs for all production
- employees
- Monitors employee performance and counsel’s employees on improvement
- opportunities to ensure standards are met
- Oversee and recommend practices for recruitment, retention, evaluation, and
- termination of shop employees, including hiring, vacations, wage increases, training,
- cross-training, and development of new and existing employees
- Know and develop relationships with individual employees
- Production and Scheduling
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in business, finance or industry-related field is desired
- Strong hands-on operational business acumen, effective people management skills, and the abilityto consider multiple options before making decisions.
- 5 years of applicable, industry, leadership and business development experience
- Knowledge of construction industry standards, building codes, equipment, methods, and contracts
- Experience and proven ability to implement effective systems, inventory management, processes,and metrics
- Strong interpersonal communication skills to work effectively with diverse individuals from executives to floor employees
- Entrepreneurial thinker, visionary with strategic planning skills
- Knowledge in lean manufacturing
- Strong language, mathematical, and reasoning skills
- Proficient with Office Productivity Tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and ability to learn and
- use ERP systems
- Valid driver's license to operate personal and company vehicle
