Server/Cashier

Job Summary
Margarita Hut To-Go seeks an energetic, fun-loving and friendly Server/Cashier to join us in a laid-back, easygoing, fun work environment. Applicants should have some experience in the food industry, preferably in table-service restaurants or bartending. This role involves giving awesome customer service while handling cash and card transactions and preparing and serving cold drinks for to-go and sit-in service. Responsibilities

• Greet customers and take their sit-in and to-go orders accurately.
• Prepare cold and frozen drinks and beverages while adhering to cleanliness standards.
• Operate the POS system for order processing and cash/card handling.
• Upsell items to boost customer satisfaction, sales, and tips.
• Maintain cleanliness of the dining area and service stations.
• Coordinate with coworkers to ensure smooth operations.
• Assist customers as needed to create a pleasant experience.
• Handle customer inquiries and resolve issues promptly.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age due to preparation of alcohol-based drinks.
• Previous experience in a bar or table-service restaurant is preferred.
• Knowledge of food/beverage handling practices and safety regulations.
• Familiarity with POS systems and cash handling procedures.
• Ability to perform retail math for accurate transactions.
• Excellent communication skills and a pleasant personality.
• Willingness to perform teamwork, learn and adapt in a fun setting.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $11.00 - $13.50 per hour

Expected hours: 25 – 35 per week
