You Will
- Create and Deliver Fun and Escapism
- Initiate outbound calls to casino customers to generate interest in our brand, drive them to book free cruises based on their play.
- Respond to inbound inquiries from potential clients, providing product information and details about Margaritaville at Sea’s offerings.
- Stay informed about the cruise competition in the U.S. market and, depending on the customer’s desired experience, be able to explain why we are the best fit.
- Effectively manage the sales process, from prospecting to closing, ensuring a smooth and timely journey for every lead.
- Utilize CRM tools to track customer interactions, update lead statuses, and maintain an organized pipeline for individuals, couples, and groups.
- Conduct product presentations via phone, email, and online meetings to demonstrate the value of Margaritaville at Sea’s offerings, telling our story in a way that excites potential partners and prompts them to take action.
- Build strong relationships with travel partners by providing exceptional ideas on how to market and close sales, offering excellent customer service, and addressing questions and concerns promptly.
- Work with travel partners to find creative ways to promote and market our product to their database, using tools like social media and eblasts.
- Collaborate closely with the marketing team to develop targeted campaigns and promotional strategies to expand our market reach to the travel partners’ databases.
- Monitor and analyze sales performance metrics to assess progress toward goals and adjust strategies as needed to achieve desired results.
- Follow up on leads and prospects, ensuring all opportunities (especially quotes that have been offered) are pursued and converted into bookings.
- Follow up after groups sail to make sure they re-book.
- Ensure that all customer data is accurately entered into the CRM system and updated regularly to support effective decision-making and reporting.
- Participate in team meetings, contributing insights from customer interactions and collaborating with colleagues to refine sales strategies and improve performance.
- Perform other duties as requested.
- 1-3 years of sales experience, with a proven track record in both outbound sales (prospecting and generating new leads) and inbound sales (handling incoming inquiries and nurturing leads).
- Experience using CRM tools to manage sales activities and customer relationships effectively.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to craft business correspondence, reports, and presentations.
- Skilled in engaging with customers at all levels, building and maintaining strong business relationships.
- Strong organizational skills with the proficiency to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- A self-motivated, results-driven individual with the capacity to work independently and within a team.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the aptitude to adapt to changes or challenges while maintaining a positive attitude.
- Advanced business acumen to make sound decisions in complex situations, using a mix of experience and available data.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook).
- Familiarity with reservations systems is preferred.
- Demonstrate high integrity, taking responsibility for both personal and organizational results and continually seeking to improve.
- Bachelor's degree preferred, ideally in Business Administration, Marketing, Hospitality Management, Tourism, Sales, or a related field.
- Experience in the travel or cruise industry is a plus but not required.
- Comfortable in a performance-driven, commission-based environment.
- Flexibility to work weekends and/or evenings as needed.
- Occasional travel may be required for industry events, trade shows, and other sales-related activities.
