Margaritaville at Sea is looking for a detail-oriented Crewing Specialist to help ensure our ships are properly staffed and Crewmembers have a positive experience traveling to and from their assignments. It's up to this person to ensure that our ships have the best possible Teams to always ensure Guest and Crew satisfaction. Using forecasting and workforce management tools, you’ll ensure efficient staffing while monitoring cost of travel. You’ll also work to ensure the workforce management system is kept up to date, Crew inquiries are answered, and appropriate travel arrangements are made in a timely manner. Basically, you will help plan when and where our Crew go and help them get there.

Margaritaville at Sea is looking for a detail-oriented Crewing Specialist to help ensure our ships are properly staffed and Crewmembers have a positive experience traveling to and from their assignments. It's up to this person to ensure that our ships have the best possible Teams to always ensure Guest and Crew satisfaction. Using forecasting and workforce management tools, you’ll ensure efficient staffing while monitoring cost of travel. You’ll also work to ensure the workforce management system is kept up to date, Crew inquiries are answered, and appropriate travel arrangements are made in a timely manner. Basically, you will help plan when and where our Crew go and help them get there.
What You Get To Do
- Work with shipboard and shoreside Leadership to ensure the right Crew are in the right place. Ensure proper manning levels are always maintained fleetwide by reviewing rotations regularly.
- Adjust rotations based on requests from Crew onboard or ashore.
- Ensure joining Crew profiles are complete and up to date in MXP to ensure no delay in onboarding.
- Work with Workforce Partners around the world to ensure smooth onboarding process and resolve any issues that arise.
- Ensure that appropriate travel is booked for all Crew joining or departing the vessels. This includes flights, hotels, and ground transportation.
- Process any travel requests from Workforce Partners or Crew including special or last-minute flights as well as flight deviations.
- Ensure that all rotations and travel are in compliance with industry standards and international laws including proper travel documentation for traveling Crew
- Maintain effective two-way communication with relevant stakeholders to include Shoreside and Onboard Leadership as well as the Crew themselves.
- Associates degree
- 3 years of customer service experience
- Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Word & Excel.
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
- Previous workforce planning or cruise experience a plus.
- Previous experience with MXP HR a plus.
- General familiarity with the Cruise and/ or Travel Industry
- General knowledge of world geography and time differences
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to communicate with multicultural stakeholders on all levels of Leadership, within and without the company.
- Working knowledge of computers including the Microsoft Office Suite
