Job Overview
Responsible for general cleaning and re-stocking of all areas of the bar. Maintain spotless Guest service areas while creating a fun, upbeat atmosphere for our Guests.
Job Responsibilities & Expectations
Prioritize and complete all assigned station task, side work, and station set up for maximum productively and efficiency.
Ensure proper sanitation standards by maintaining cleanliness of bar, glassware, utensils, and counters.
Clean all spilled drinks, excess liquor, broken glass and other debris in a timely fashion.
Gather and clear all tableware soiled through use and deliver to Dishwasher.
Maintain all sanitizer buckets and towels.
Keep floor clean and free of debris.
Use and maintain all tools and equipment safely.
Complete required and ongoing training for the position.
Assist management in training new Staff Members within department, when applicable.
Maintain adequate supply of ice, change empty kegs, BIB sodas boxes, and sour mix.
Stock the bar with liquor, beer, wine, juices, mixes, glassware, utensils, cocktail napkins, fresh cut fruit, garnishes, etc.
Maintain adequate supplies of garnishes by cutting fruit on a regular basis.
Maintain trash cans behind bar and throughout the venue.
Assist Bartender with cleaning and breakdown of bar at end of shift.
Assist with inventory of all liquor and bar related supplies, and notify a Manager of low inventory.
Adhere to responsible alcohol service established by company policy.
Understand and utilize all safety and sanitation practices as defined in the safety program; report any accidents.
Perform other duties and tasks as assigned or determined by Management.
Preferred Experience, Required Licenses/Permits, & Physical Requirements
One year experience as a barback/bar porter or working in some aspect of the food and beverage industry (high-volume environment preferred); or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Must provide health and food safety permit.
Must provide Oklahoma ABLE Liquor License.
Able to complete a heavy workload and handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision.
Must be able to spend 100% of working time standing, walking, and reaching.
Must be able to carry loads greater than 35 pounds and exert up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 30 pounds of force frequently.
