JOB OVERVIEW- Responsible for assisting with day-to-day operations; ensure a strong focus on Guest and Team Member satisfaction. Lead and hold Team Members accountable to attain hospitality, sales, and profit objectives while maintaining the highest standards of quality food, beverage, service, cleanliness, and sanitation.
JOB EXPECTATIONS-
- Ensure only the highest quality products are served and they meet each Guest's expectations.
- Ensure a high standard of service efficiency, sanitation, and training.
- Ensure all productivity and quality standards are maintained.
- Understand, comply with, and enforce all company policies, procedures, and operating standards in accordance with all federal/state/local laws and ordinances.
- Assist with the development, performance, coaching, and training of Team Members.
- Responsible for reporting any Team Member issues to management.
- Lead front of house restaurant operations.
- Assist management with opening and closing responsibilities and assigning duties to Team Members, including overseeing dining room set up and conducting a walk-through of venue.
- Lead and manage successful, quality shifts by consistently utilizing systems and tools.
- Assist with labor control and assigning duties to Team Members.
- Notify Manager of low inventory and recommend new inventory.
- Ensure overall Guest and Team Member satisfaction.
- Communicate and establish rapport with Guests.
- Engage with Guest to ensure Guest satisfaction and retention through table visits.
- Accountable for all facets of service, production, and quality controls.
- Responsible for comping &/or discounting Guest checks when applicable.
- Adhere to responsible alcohol service established by company policy.
- Understand and utilize all safety and sanitation practices as defined in the safety program; report any accidents.
- Perform other duties and tasks as assigned or determined by Management.
JOB REQUIREMENTS-
- High School or GED required.
- 1-2 years restaurant in a high volume Food and Beverage environment.
- Supervisory or management experience preferred.
- Excellent reading, writing, mathematical, and communication skills.
- Ability to interact professionally with other departments and outside contacts.
- Ability to complete a heavy workload and handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision.
- Excellent judgment and decision-making abilities.
- Health permit/food safety, Oklahoma ABLE liquor license, and Alcohol Awareness certifications. Team Member is required to obtain permits and licenses individually and provide proof of possession prior to first day of employment subject to local laws (US only).
- Physical requirements (as required by OHSA and ADA - US only)
- Must be able to spend 90% of working time standing, walking, and reaching and 10% of working time sitting.
- Pushing, pulling, and lifting objects from a lower to higher position or moving objects horizontally, from position to position.
- Maintaining body equilibrium to prevent falling while walking, standing or crouching in narrow, slippery, or erratically moving surfaces.
- Climbing and ascending or descending ladders, stairs, and ramps.
- Must be able to carry loads greater than 35 pounds and exert up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, &/or up to 30 pounds of force frequently.
- Hearing sounds at normal speaking levels with or without correction.
- Specific vision abilities include close, distance, color, peripheral, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus.
