With good pay, extensive benefits and a family atmosphere, we are seeking an energetic team member to support the Room Attendants to ensure quality for every guest, every time.

Pay $ 15.00 Hourly
Age Requirement: Must be at least 18 years of age
Reports to: Executive Housekeeper
A Housekeeping Inspector has a great eye for detail and accuracy and will assist the Room Attendants in ensuring the very best quality of work is delivered.

Responsibilities include:

• Report to Housekeeping Office at the beginning of shift, pick up and sign out key, and return key when reporting to office at end of shift.
• Inspect all assigned rooms and suites daily, including bed stripping, bathroom cleaning, vacuuming, dusting, checking working order of room lights, air conditioner unit / television / radio / iron / hairdryer, spot cleaning, cleanliness under bed, and stocking all room supplies.
• Supervise Room Attendants, including the re-cleaning of any items missed or not cleaned to Driftwood and hotel standards.
• Ensure quality services are rendered in meeting guest needs.
• Maintain room quality based on Driftwood and hotel guidelines.
• Monitor and maintain required level of cleanliness in rooms, storage areas, laundry, restrooms, and common areas
• Assist with cleaning rooms, as needs of the business dictate.
• Train new associates.
• Ensure safety standards are strictly followed.
• Enforce procedures for the acceptance, security, and return of guest lost and found items
• Report any items missing from rooms and suites.
• Report all items in need of repair to supervisor and maintain equipment used in work.
• Protect guest safety and well-being; be courteous to all guests and co-workers.

• Must have a comprehensive knowledge of the English language to effectively communicate with guests, associates, and vendors.
• Ability to accurately report information.
• Ability to scrupulously follow all Driftwood and hotel policies and procedures; hold subordinates accountable for same.

• Minimum lifting and pulling of 20 pounds.
