The team at Margaritaville Lake Resort is here to create and deliver fun and escapism for our guests, and serving excellent food is at the very heart of that. With good pay, extensive benefits and a family atmosphere, we are looking for energetic and welcoming individuals with strong bartending experience to serve at our busy lakeside Landshark Bar & Grill.

Pay $ 6.88 per hour plus tips
Age Requirement: Must be at least 21 years of ageReports to: Landshark Restaurant Manager
As a Landshark Restaurant Bartender, you will take beverage orders and answer questions about the drinks menu as needed, maintaining the fun, upbeat culture of the restaurant in your communication with the guests. You will have a good understanding of beverage mixing and be able to confidently adhere to policies and procedures to serve guests responsibly.
Responsibilities include:
- Some previous bartending experience preferred
- Previous cashiering experience essential
- Must be able to work in various weather conditions, including extreme heat
- Ensure all details are followed according to supervisor's instructions while providing guests with the finest quality of service at all times in a warm and friendly manner.
- Ensure the work area is maintained in a clean, organized, and safe condition
- All equipment must be stored in the designated area.
- Communicate guest compliments/complaints to management.
- Notify supervisor of any broken or damaged equipment.
- Maintain Driftwood and resort standards of food, beverage, and quality guest service.
- Must be able to pass "Responsible Beverage Service Training" per state of Missouri requirements.
- Check guest's identification to ensure they are of legal age to consume alcoholic beverages and be able to refuse to serve beverages in a polite manner to guests who are not of legal age.
- Observe behavior of guests who are consuming alcoholic beverages, count number of drinks served, if needed notify supervisor or manager for assistance in "cutting off" the guest.
Personal Skills
- Must have a comprehensive knowledge of the English language to effectively communicate with guests, associates, and vendors.
- Ability to scrupulously follow all Driftwood and Margaritaville Lake Resort policies and procedures.
- Projects and assignments are completed thoroughly, professionally, and with care.
- Adjusts to high-pressure conditions and is open to change.
- Consistently maintain positive demeanor.
- Assumes responsibility for personal growth and development.
- Adheres to Driftwood and Margaritaville Lake Resort uniform, grooming and appearance standards.
- Conducts him\herself professionally at all times.
- Relevant training and experience required.
Physical Requirements
- Minimum lifting/pulling of 40 pounds.
- Being on feet for an entire shift, possibly 8 hours or more.
- Pushing, bending, stooping, upward reaching, manual dexterity.
- Hearing, writing, typing.
