Pay $ 14.00 per hour
Age Requirement: Must be at least 18 years of ageReports to: Security Manager
As a Pool Security Officer, you will be working outside, sometimes in extreme weather, ensuring the safety of our guests and protecting the policies that are in place to allow all our guests to enjoy the resort and our staff to work safely.
Responsibilities include:
- Primary responsibility will be patrolling pools, marina and pool bar areas.
- Handling guests disturbances, and first aid calls.
- Calmly and confidently handle difficult situations i.e. intoxicated guests, domestic calls.
- Warn or eject troublemakers and caution careless persons.
- Assist management and enforcement officers in emergency situations.
- Respond to and resolve guest requests, complaints, or questions in a courteous and timely manner.
Personal Skills
- Must possess excellent hospitality and communication skills
- Must have at least 6 months of experience in the security field.
- Must have current Fist Aid Certification
- Must demonstrate comprehensive knowledge of the English language to effectively communicate with guests, associates, and vendors.
- Ability to accurately report information.
- Ability to scrupulously follow all Driftwood and hotel policies and procedures.
- Adjusts to high-pressure conditions and is open to change.
- Assumes responsibility for personal growth and development.
- Conducts him\herself, acts and dresses professionally at all times.
- Understands and communicates the Margaritaville Lake Resort Mission.
- Expresses ideas and conveys information clearly, effectively, and professionally.
- Actively listens to others.
- Must have or be willing to obtain a Missouri Class E drivers license.
- Must have good computer skills.
- High school education and relevant training and experience preferred.
Physical Requirements
- Must be able to tolerate hot weather and able to work on feet for long periods of time.
- Minimum lifting and pulling of 30 pounds.
- Pushing, bending, stooping, upward reaching, manual dexterity.
- Hearing, writing, typing
