Job Title: On-Call Banquet Bartender
Position Summary:
The On-Call Banquet Bartender is responsible for preparing and serving alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages at various events, ensuring guest satisfaction and a high level of service. This role involves maintaining the bar area, ensuring compliance with safety and legal regulations, and delivering a positive, welcoming environment for event attendees. The position is on-call and works during events such as weddings, conferences, banquets, and other special occasions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Beverage Preparation and Service:
• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and event specifications.
• Mix, garnish, and serve drinks efficiently, ensuring consistency in taste and presentation.
• Make beverage recommendations based on guest preferences or event theme.
• Ensure all beverages are served in appropriate glassware and properly garnished. - Customer Service:
• Greet guests in a friendly, professional manner, creating a welcoming atmosphere.
• Take drink orders from guests at the bar or through event staff, ensuring timely and attentive service.
• Address guest questions or concerns promptly and courteously, handling any issues professionally.
• Provide recommendations and help guests enjoy their drink selections. - Bar Maintenance and Organization:
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including countertops, shelves, and storage.
• Replenish bar supplies (alcohol, mixers, garnishes, etc.) as needed.
• Clean bar tools, glassware, and utensils, ensuring everything is sanitized for safe use.
• Properly dispose of trash and waste according to health and safety guidelines. - Compliance and Safety:
• Serve alcohol in compliance with legal drinking age laws and company policies.
