Margaritaville is seeking Bartender candidates that are passionate about providing an amazing experience for our guests using outstanding guest service practices and healthy, structured beverage preparation specifications. The Bartender position offers an opportunity to work alongside a group of professional, hard-working, energetic people who are all empowered to do whatever it takes to deliver an exceptional guest experience. The ability to work in a team environment and follow the prescribed systems is essential to this position.

Key Responsibilities include:

Impeccable Customer Service:

• Provide exceptional customer service by warmly greeting patrons, attending to their needs promptly, and maintaining a friendly and professional demeanor throughout their visit.

Stay Updated on Beverage Trends:

• Keep abreast of the latest trends in the beverage industry, including beers, wines, spirits, and mixers, to offer patrons informed recommendations and a diverse selection of drinks.

Craft Creative and Classic Cocktails:

• Showcase your bartending skills by skillfully crafting a variety of creative and classic cocktails with precision, attention to detail, and a touch of flair to delight patrons.

Maintain Clean and Organized Bar Area:

• Ensure the bar area remains clean, organized, and well-stocked always, with all necessary supplies, ingredients, and equipment readily available for efficient service.

Manage Multiple Drink Orders:

• Efficiently manage multiple drink orders simultaneously while maintaining awareness of the overall bar flow to ensure timely service and customer satisfaction.

POS Operation:

• Navigate the Point of Sale (POS) system proficiently to start and close out tabs accurately, process payments, and maintain an organized record of transactions.

Responsible Alcohol Service:

• Adhere to responsible alcohol service guidelines, including enforcing age restrictions and monitoring patrons' alcohol consumption to promote a safe and enjoyable environment for all guests.

Collaboration and Communication:

• Collaborate effectively with fellow bartenders, servers, and kitchen staff to coordinate orders, ensure smooth operations, and deliver an exceptional dining experience to patrons.

Handling Customer Concerns:

• Handle customer complaints or concerns professionally and proactively, finding swift and satisfactory resolutions to maintain customer satisfaction and uphold the establishment's reputation.

Effective Communication Skills:

• Utilize effective communication skills to interact with customers, take orders, provide recommendations, and actively listen to understand and fulfill customer preferences and needs.

What you will bring:

• Knowledge of mixing, garnishing, and serving drinks.
• Understanding of POS system. Knowledge of InfoGenesis is a plus.
• Minimum 1-year previous bartending experience.
• Understanding of alcohol laws and guidelines.
• Relevant Training certificate(s).
• Strong organizational skills.
• Be punctual and able to observe regular and consistent attendance.
• Contribute to a positive team environment.
