Quality Assurance Manager
Job Summary:
The Quality Assurance Manager is responsible for establishing a quality assurance system and leading a team of lab technicians in three quality control labs to test and relay results for the consistent production of first quality finished goods.
The Quality Assurance Manager is responsible for establishing a quality assurance system and leading a team of lab technicians in three quality control labs to test and relay results for the consistent production of first quality finished goods.
Job Duties/Responsibilities:
- Facilitate a work environment that supports a safe culture.
- Perform quality assurance statistical data analysis.
- Facilitate process improvement initiatives.
- Facilitate IQS training for all new employees.
- Ensure that every team member on assigned shift is trained according to the Training Procedure Work Instructions.
- Manage team member performance, counseling team members as necessary and coaching team members to ensure that testing and communications are met.
- Utilize problem solving techniques, teamwork building strategies, process control and continuous improvement tools to meet or exceed safety, quality, and production standards.
- Maintain adherence to Company policies, safety standards and good housekeeping practices.
- Performs other duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications and Education Requirements
4 year degree required.
Experience in developing and maintaining quality systems required.
Analytical skills.
Color analysis skills
Ability to build trust and confidence with all employees.
Strategic thinking and leadership skills.
Ability to communicate with employees at all levels.
Consultation skills.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
