Radiologic Technologist Job Description
Maria Parham Health Henderson seeks a skilled Radiologic Technologist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for delivering exceptional patient care and working in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare patients for imaging procedures, ensuring their understanding and cooperation throughout the process
- Educate patients on procedures, equipment, and exam requirements
- Implement safety standards and perform quality control procedures on equipment
- Troubleshoot and resolve equipment malfunctions, reporting as necessary
- Analyze imaging results, identifying issues with image quality
- Take action to resolve image quality issues, including repositioning patients and repeating procedures
- Effectively utilize Electronic Health Records (EHRs)
Requirements:
- High school graduate or GED equivalency
- Graduate of a certified school of Radiologic Technology
- Critical thinking skills and decisive judgment
- Ability to work with minimal supervision
