About this position:
Responsible for the daily operations and management of the Neuro Interventional & Stroke programs. Maintains necessary certifications in Neuro Interventional & Stroke. Coordinates and supports the implementation of services and activities related to Neuro Interventional & Stroke accreditation. Serves as a point of contact/liaison between physicians, nursing staff, allied healthcare professionals, patients, and their families.

Responsible for the daily operations and management of the Neuro Interventional & Stroke programs. Maintains necessary certifications in Neuro Interventional & Stroke. Coordinates and supports the implementation of services and activities related to Neuro Interventional & Stroke accreditation. Serves as a point of contact/liaison between physicians, nursing staff, allied healthcare professionals, patients, and their families.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:
- Minimum of five (5) years of nursing experience; including care of Neuro Interventional & Stroke patients, primarily those from post-neurointerventional/neurosurgery patients.
- Working knowledge of performance improvement, license and accreditation requirements.
- Two(2) years experience in managerial or program development.
- Experience developing or management a Neuro Interventional & Stroke program or functioning as a Neuro Interventional & Stroke Coordinator.
- Graduate from an accredited school of nursing with a BSN or MSN.
- Current California RN (Registered Nurse) license in good standing.
- Current BLS healthcare provider card.
- Current ACLS healthcare provider card.
- Current NIHSS certification.
- Demonstrates good capacity for teaching, organizing, planning and development. Strong interpersonal communication.
- Strong computer knowledge.
Please be advised that this location requires quarterly American Heart Association (AHA) Resuscitation Quality Improvement (RQI) competency certification post-hire. This ongoing competency is required through resources internal to the facility; outside RQI competency resources are not acceptable for CommonSpirit Health compliance requirements.
Pay Range
$46.89 - $68.77 /hour
