Job Overview
Join Mariani Landscape as an Enhancements Crew Leader! This role is responsible for the oversight and guidance of a 3-4 member crew at offsite locations, ensuring efficient and safe work practices. Responsibilities include planting and maintaining a variety of plants, from flowers to trees and shrubs. As well as pruning (both by hand and with shears), edging, watering, cultivating, weeding, and delegating tasks as needed.
Responsibilities and Duties
Ensure Crew Members adhere to company policies, procedures, and work standards.
Act as a liaison to clients on the job site.
Provide hands-on training in planting, pruning, edging, watering, and weeding.
Coordinate work activities, delegating tasks based on each crew member's skills.
Communicate issues promptly to the correspondent Supervisor.
Ensure safety procedures are followed and manual hand tools are used correctly.
Participate in landscaping tasks such as planting, pruning, edging, and weeding.
Complete paperwork accurately and on time.
Job Requirements
At least 2 years of experience in the landscape industry.
Valid driver's license and eligibility to obtain a Class C license.
Basic plant recognition and horticultural knowledge.
Ability to deliver quality results under deadlines.
Familiarity with operating manual hand tools (shovels, rakes, picks, wheelbarrows).
Ability to drive trucks and trailers
Ability to lead, delegate tasks, and ensure accountability.
