Job Overview
The Turf Care Field Manager at Ed Castro Landscape is responsible for overseeing turf maintenance operations, ensuring exceptional care and quality of turf on client properties. This role combines hands-on fieldwork, team supervision, and client communication to deliver excellent results while adhering to company standards and environmental practices.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Turf Maintenance Oversight :
Develop and implement turf care programs, including fertilization, weed control, pest management, and aeration.
Supervise and mentor turf technicians and field staff, providing training on equipment use, application techniques, and safety protocols.
Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, addressing concerns and providing updates on turf conditions and care.
Oversee the maintenance and calibration of equipment to ensure accurate applications and safe operations.
Maintain accurate records of applications, materials used, and site visits.
Stay updated on industry trends, new technologies, and best practices in turf management.
Job Requirements
3 years of experience in turf management, landscaping, or a related field.
Proven ability to manage and motivate a team in a field environment.
Proficiency in operating and maintaining turf care equipment.
Capability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
Degree or certification in turf management, horticulture, or a related field preferred but not required.
