Key Responsibilities
- Accountable for the accuracy & integrity of all shipment and inventory counts. Must be able to assist in investigating variances.
- Responsible for inspection of truck contents for items shipped and received to ensure product quality.
- Responsible for staging orders/loads for shipment - Verify
- Responsible for analyzing the next day’s shipments and to report any shortage of finished goods to production, customer service, and sales in a timely manner that allows the collective solution to be created to mitigate the shortage.
Position Requirements:
- Stacks and/or unstacks pallets, bins or barrels
- Maintains loading information on all shipments.
- Responsible for properly completing all shipping paperwork
- Loads and unloads trucks as necessary
- Operates Forklift using foot and hand controls.
- Plans, stages, calculates and loads vans, trucks and containers or other vehicles for transporting packed stock.
