JOB DESCRIPTION: Borst Landscape & Design is seeking a creative and skilled Freelance Landscape Designer to help us bring our outdoor projects to life. If you have a passion for creating beautiful and functional outdoor spaces, we want to hear from you!
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Develop innovative landscape designs for residential and commercial projects, including gardens, patios, and green spaces
- Prepare detailed plans, drawings, and specifications for landscaping projects
- Collaborate with clients to understand their needs and preferences, ensuring designs meet their vision
- Select plants, materials, and other features, considering local climate and sustainability practices
- Provide site assessments and recommendations for landscaping improvements
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Landscape Architecture or a related field.
- 1-2 years of experience as a landscape designer or landscape architect
- Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, or similar programs
- A strong portfolio showcasing completed landscape design projects
- Knowledge of horticulture, landscape ecology, and sustainable design practices
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently and collaboratively
