We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Assistant to join our dynamic dental clinic team. Duties
- Assist the dentist during various procedures, including examinations, cleanings, and treatments.
- Prepare and maintain the treatment area, ensuring all necessary instruments and materials are ready for use.
- Utilize a 3D scanner for capturing digital impressions as needed.
- Adhere to infection control protocols and aseptic techniques to maintain a safe environment for patients and staff.
- Take dental X-rays and ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations regarding patient confidentiality.
- Manage patient records using Eaglesoft software, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.
- Schedule appointments and assist with front desk duties as a dental receptionist when required.
- Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care.
- Support the prosthodontics team with specialized procedures as necessary.
Qualifications
- Bilingual is highly desired.
- Previous experience as a Dental Assistant in a clinical setting is preferred not required.
- Proficiency in using dental equipment, including X-ray machines and 3D scanners.
- Strong knowledge of infection control practices and aseptic techniques.
- Familiarity with Eaglesoft software is highly desirable.
- Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with patients and team members.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- A commitment to upholding HIPAA regulations regarding patient information privacy.
- Certification in dental assisting or relevant training is an advantage.
