Job Summary
The Maricopa Community Colleges Foundation (MCCF) team is committed to empowering students and fostering learning through financial support, workforce and skill development, and removing the biggest hurdles to obtaining an education. Support today will make sure of success tomorrow, which is the MCCF mission.
The majority of existing grants within MCCF span over multiple years and involve several colleges, each with specific reporting requirements for grant deliverables. The Fiscal Supervisor and Compliance position is key to ensuring effective management and compliance with grant-related activities. This position is also responsible for managing the Foundation's existing grants and federally funded programs. Key responsibilities include:
- Overseeing grant and compliance management.
- Tracking payments and monitoring grant activity.
- Reviewing and producing grant reports.
- Reviewing and approving grant reimbursement requests before submission to granting agencies.
Essential Functions
Grant Management / Compliance - 50%
Fiscal Support - 40%
Other Duties as Assigned - 10%
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree from a regionally accredited institution in finance, accounting, or directly related field, four (4) full time equivalent years experience providing oversight of assigned fiscal function or grant related to area of assignment, which includes two years of lead work or senior level experience.
An equivalent combination of the conferred degree and directly related full-time work experience as described above sufficient to successfully perform the essential duties of the job such as those listed above, unless otherwise subject to any other requirements set forth in law or regulation, may be considered.
Desired Qualifications
- Three (3) years of experience coordinating complex projects, activities, and schedules.
- Three (3) years of experience with financial reporting, account reconciliation, auditing, and record-keeping.
- Three (3) years of experience using Microsoft Office programs and/or other office productivity software
- Two (2) years of experience providing program support in maintaining various internal systems and tracking multiple deliverables in a fast-paced higher education environment.
- Three (3) years of experience managing grant deliverables and compliance with private, federal, and state grants.
Special Working Conditions
May be required to sit for a prolonged period of time; viewing a computer monitor.
