Hourly Rate : $15.00 / per hour
Not Eligible for Benefits : This is a part-time, temporary position not eligible for benefits.
Work Schedule : Monday - Friday
8 am - 8 pm
Hours vary with student's class schedule; This is a part-time, temporary position (19.5 hours / week)
Job Summary :
Lab Technicians work under the direction of the Music Industries Studies Program Specialist. They keep the Electronic Music Lab clean, keep cables and equipment organized, help students with software, and assist staff and instructors as needed.
Minimum Qualifications :
- Willing to help students and employees
- Ability to properly wrap a cable (over / under)
- General computer proficiency & experience with MacOS
- Experience with Pro Tools, Logic Pro X, and other DAWs
- Ability to troubleshoot audio hardware : audio interfaces, keyboard controllers, synthesizers, speakers, etc.
- Experience with live sound reinforcement
- Familiarity with the Music Industries Studies Program
- Some evenings and weekends may be required.
