Job Summary
GateWay Community College is now hiring! This position reports to the Department / Division Chair and provides fundamental nursing theory, skills lab, clinical, and simulation-based instruction to a diverse student population.
Communication and collaboration with students, faculty, administrators, and other campus departments whose mission is focused on student success is required. This position also requires theoretical and clinical nursing knowledge as this person provides theory, clinical laboratory, simulation, and instruction to nursing students from diverse backgrounds.
The primary teaching focus will be the Maricopa Nursing RN program. A master's degree in nursing is required to teach the theoretical component of the Maricopa Nursing RN program.

Minimum Qualifications
1. A Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree plus three (3) years of experience as a professional nurse providing direct patient care, or a BSN and a graduate degree and two (2) years experience as a professional nurse providing direct patient care, or a graduate degree in nursing and two (2) years of experience as a professional nurse providing direct patient care
2. Must hold an Arizona registered nurse license in good standing or multi-state privilege to practice in Arizona by the first day of employment.
3. Must be able to meet health and safety requirements including CPR certification, Fingerprint Clearance Card, and drug testing.
