    Are you passionate about developing talent, fostering an inclusive workplace, and shaping a thriving organizational culture? We are looking for a dynamic HR Director to lead the Center for Employee and Organizational Development and Culture under the direction of the Associate CHRO.

    The HR Director for the Center for Employee and Organizational Development and Culture plays a pivotal role in shaping and enhancing the organization's talent development strategy. This leadership position is responsible for overseeing and optimizing the design, implementation, and evaluation of programs that foster employee growth and cultivate a positive organizational culture. This role will work to enhance employee engagement, performance, and organizational effectiveness. The ideal candidate will have a passion for nurturing talent, promoting inclusion, and creating an environment where employees thrive. The HR Director supervises a team of training developers and facilitators, ensuring the successful delivery of educational programs that support both individual and organizational growth.

    Essential Functions

    Employee Development Programs (20%)

  • Develop and execute strategies for employee development that promote a culture of continuous learning and improvement. This includes offering employee onboarding, creating career development pathways and cross-functional skill-building opportunities, identifying key talent, and facilitating coaching and mentorship programs.
  • Leadership and Team Management (20%)

  • Lead and manage a team of training developers and facilitators, providing guidance, mentorship, and performance evaluations to ensure effective program delivery and team growth.
  • Compliance Training Management (10%)

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to establish compliance training offerings. This includes tracking completion rates, ensuring program relevance, and adjusting training schedules as needed.
  • Leadership Development (10%)

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to identify talent development needs and create tailored programs to build leadership capabilities and succession planning.
  • Organizational Culture and Change Management Strategy (10%)

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to cultivate a strong, inclusive, and values-driven organizational culture that aligns with the organization's goals and employee needs while supporting change initiatives and ensuring smooth transitions to maintain employee morale and performance.
  • Performance Management (10%)

  • Contribute to the development and execution of performance success strategies, ensuring a continuous feedback culture and alignment with organizational objectives.
  • Reporting and Data Analytics (10%)

  • Gather and analyze data on employee satisfaction, training effectiveness, and organizational health to measure effectiveness and inform decision-making and future initiatives.
  • Staff Professional Growth Program Oversight (10%)

  • Oversee the design, implementation, and continuous improvement of the Staff Professional Growth program, ensuring that development opportunities are aligned with organizational priorities and employee needs.
  • Minimum Qualifications

    Bachelor's Degree from a regionally accredited institution in human resources or directly related field, six (6) years of progressively responsible human resources experience that includes the administration of policies and procedures, advanced, complex analysis, program oversight, and two years of supervisory experience.

    An equivalent combination of the conferred degree and directly related full-time work experience as described above sufficient to successfully perform the essential duties of the job such as those listed above, unless otherwise subject to any other requirements set forth in law or regulation, may be considered.

    Desired Qualifications

  • Certified Professional in Talent Development
  • 5 years of experience in organizational development, employee engagement, or talent management in higher education, with a proven track record in program design and execution.
  • Demonstrated knowledge and application of organizational behavior, learning and development principles, and change management strategies in a professional setting.
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively and build strong relationships across all levels of an organization, including influencing stakeholders and collaborating with diverse teams.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize effectively, and deliver results within deadlines.
  • Proficiency in using HRIS and learning management systems (LMS) is desirable.
  • A passion for building inclusive, positive, and high-performing organizational cultures.
