Offers are based on the candidate's equivalent experience and internal equity with other employees within the same job classification. This position is eligible for overtime compensation for all hours worked over 40 in the designated workweek.

Builds collaborative relationships with parents of the assigned areas to establish trust and educates parents on available resources in the area servedInitiates and maintains co-operative partnerships with community agencies that provide health, social, employment, and educational services. Refers families for services in the community, assists the family in accessing services, and monitors service completionAssumes responsibility for child recruitment and maintains enrollment for all assigned sites during the program year. Completes applications for program enrollment and coordinates the enrollment and termination / drop activities of children. Monitors child attendance and contacts parents regarding child's absenteeism or other issuesInitiates and maintains co-operative partnerships with assigned area's Education team to ensure families receive quality comprehensive servicesFacilitates, encourages and supports parent involvement in each area; organize and carry out parent committee meetings and parent training activities based on the needs of the families. Makes periodic home visits to each family enrolled in the program schedules around working families' availabilityPartners with the family to identify family goals, strengths, and needed services and support. Develops a Family Partnership Agreement for each family enrolled in the program and supports the family in plan implementationMaintains current, accurate and confidential records (paper and electronic) and runs reports to track services to ensure program compliance for all children and families enrolled in the programWorking Conditions
Must possess or have the ability to obtain a valid Arizona driver's license by the time of hireMust complete a background check and fingerprint identification upon hire to secure and maintain an Arizona Department of Public Safety Level 1 Fingerprint Clearance CardMust complete a medical exam that includes screening for tuberculosis (TB)Must obtain a CPR, first aid, and food handler's certification within six weeks of hireAbility to read, write, and speak Spanish may be required for some positionsWork is performed in classrooms located throughout Maricopa County, parents' home, or at parent's employerRequires travel to and from job-related locations during the course of a scheduled workday, subject to County policies regarding use of County vehicles and / or private vehicles used on County businessSelection Procedure
