This position provides for the procurement of parts, supplies, equipment, and the operation of the Facilities Management Department (FMD) warehouse. This is crucial for the Operations and Maintenance Division can ensure a safe and functionally stable environment for all the Maricopa County Departments we service.
About Us
As the landlord for all facilities owned by Maricopa County, the Facilities Management Department is responsible for the planning, design, construction, maintenance, and operations of more than 200 facilities comprised of over 10 million square feet. Facilities Management is made up of a collaborative team that provides and performs various functions to meet the facility-related needs of all Maricopa County Departments. Our broad range of services includes various aspects of the ongoing operations and maintenance of all County-owned facilities, management of all facility projects, and in-house design services.

Working Conditions
The physical demands of this position include the ability to exert 50-100 lbs. occasionally, 10-25 lbs. frequently, or up to 10-20 lbs. constantly. Work may occur in either an office or field environment.
While performing the duties and responsibilities, the employee may be exposed to loud noises, noxious odors, unsanitary conditions, chemicals, electricity, moving mechanical parts, varying weather conditions, and other related conditions and situations. The work may cause the employee to be subjected to atmospheric conditions : fumes, odors, dust, mists, gases, or poor ventilation.
The employee may be required to operate a County-provided vehicle and may be subjected to moving mechanical parts, vibrations, fumes, odors, dust, poor ventilation, chemicals, oils, extreme temperatures, inadequate lighting, workspace restrictions, intense noises, and travel.
