- One year of experience facilitating adult learning and in public relations or internal communications, including employee engagement, event planning, or career development
- Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Administration, Education or a related field
- A combination of post-secondary education and/or job-related experience may substitute for the minimum qualifications on a year-for-year basis
- Experience using Articulate and/or Vyond
- Experience in event management
- Oversees the preparation, design, and delivery of specialized, and continuing education training programs in a specific area of instruction or compliance
- Develops, organizes, and coordinates programs designed to advise and assist management in the implementation of strategic initiatives, organizational goals, and engagement activities
- Develops materials, prepares, and implements programs for various professional development and partnering support activities
- Performs programmatic needs assessments to meet established priorities and ensure desired goals executed
- Develops, establishes, and maintains report/metric requirements designed to self-audit programs' effectiveness
- Develops evaluation instruments to measure the effectiveness of programs and makes recommendations
- Maintains contact with County stakeholders to meet department goals by administering comprehensive internal communication and partnering initiatives
- Confers with and represents the department and the County in meetings with staff from other departments, representatives of governmental, business, professional, and public agencies
- Exerting up to 20 lbs. occasionally, 10 lbs. frequently, or negligible amounts constantly OR requires walking or standing to a significant degree.
