As the Multimedia Communications Officer, you will act as the Office representative for all professional communication, including planning, preparing, and implementing public relations and outreach programs for various external and internal audiences. You will primarily ensure brand standards for both external and internal communications, record, edit, and produce video content and photography, and provide graphic design and content creation support for social media and other outlets. A key component of this position will be virtual storytelling.

- Three years of experience in public relations, communications, or journalism, including one year of experience in videography and/or graphic design
- Bachelor's degree in communications, journalism, marketing, public relations, public administration, or a related field
- A combination of post-secondary education and/or experience may substitute for the minimum qualifications on a year-for-year basis
- Experience in videography and/or graphic design for mid to large-size companies, brands, or agencies
- Enhance and coordinate communications of the Clerk’s Office with internal and external audiences in support of and to further the department’s mission and goals
- Maintain brand standards through partnerships with internal and external partners; Develop, organize, and coordinate public outreach programs, activities, and special events
- Prepare varied graphics, layout design, art, mapping, and illustration projects for social media and other outlets/projects and produce video projects from concept to completion
- Assist with the management of social media and web-based communications, including the development and maintenance of internal and external websites
- Apply appropriate job-specific knowledge and use expertise to perform daily job responsibilities to achieve organizational goals and equitable access to justice (mission/vision/values)
- Establish contact and develop rapport with community groups, County and Judicial Branch offices, and other stakeholders and
- Prepare and coordinate email messages, articles, presentations, press releases, newsletters, flyers, agendas, video scripts, and speeches
- Proofread draft communication developed by others and provide feedback such as suggested edits; Communicate technical information to targeted audiences, both written, visually, and orally
- Coordinate programs that promote compliance with Title VI language access requirements
- Prepare freehand and computer-generated artwork, graphics, maps, drawings, lettering, photographs, layout, and design work
- Work is performed mostly in a high-volume, fast-paced office environment
- This position may require public speaking and long periods of sitting or standing
- Travel may be required to and from job-related locations during a scheduled workday subject to County policies regarding the use of County vehicles and/or private vehicles use on County business
- Must have a valid AZ Driver's license upon hire
