POSITION DESCRIPTION: Summer Student Worker Technology Support
REPORTS TO: Director of Technology
TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT: Part-time Up to 29.5 hours a week. Compensation Arizona Minimum Wage
EMPLOYMENT DURATION: 05/28/2024-06/28/2023
GENERAL STATEMENT OF RESPONSIBILITIES: Under general supervision, assist in a variety of technical work related to inventory and repair of networked computers and other associated software.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES: (essential functions)
- Inventory control of student laptops
- Assists with laptop cleaning and repair
- Data entry, organization of documents
- Maintains files and records
- Provide general support for the department
- Performs other duties as assigned.
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS REQUIRED:
- Knowledge of computer hardware A
- bility to work independently
- Ability to logically troubleshoot problems to eliminate possibilities
- Physical Effort - Must have the ability to lift, move and/or carry equipment weighing up to 50 lbs.
- Skill with verbal and written communications
- Valid driver’s license
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Able to perform the following physical requirements of the position with or without reasonable accommodation: critical sensory requirements include general vision, corrected to 20/20, hear or listen in the normal range (corrected) and speak and give directions clearly. Able to walk, sit, stand, kneel, crouch, crawl, reach, lift (exerting force up to 50 pounds), carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects up to 125 lbs.
