Job Summary
Family and Community Engagement Specialist/Social Worker Position:
A grant-funded role under the supervision of the Superintendent or designee, supporting students with personal and mental health concerns affecting school performance, behavior, and socialization. Conduct interventions in one-on-one, small group, classroom, or school-wide settings. Advocate for community populations, embracing cultural and ethnic diversity, as well as equity for all students, families, and communities. Provide consultative services to students, families, and agencies to aid the Maricopa community. Additionally, refer families to agencies, collaborate with agencies to bring on-site resources, and support Parent & Community Center activities fostering partnerships between homes, schools, and communities.

Requirements
- Master's Degree in Social Work, Marriage & Family Therapy, Clinical Psychology, or related field

PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS
- Bilingual (Spanish) preferred
- Valid California license as an LCSW, LMFT, Clinical Psychologist, or P.P.S.
- Valid California Driver's license
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE
- Previous experience working with linguistically and culturally diverse groups
- Successful experience working with community agencies
- 2 years of experience in counseling and/or social work
