Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated individual to join our team as a Family Support and Community Outreach Specialist. This grant-funded role under the supervision of the Superintendent or designee, supports students with personal and mental health concerns affecting school performance, behavior, and socialization.
About the Role:
- Conduct interventions in one-on-one, small group, classroom, or school-wide settings to support student wellbeing.
- Advocate for community populations, embracing cultural and ethnic diversity, as well as equity for all students, families, and communities.
- Provide consultative services to students, families, and agencies to aid the Maricopa community.
- Refer families to agencies, collaborate with agencies to bring on-site resources, and support Parent & Community Center activities fostering partnerships between homes, schools, and communities.
Requirements:
- A Master's Degree in Social Work, Marriage & Family Therapy, Clinical Psychology, or related field is required.
- Three letters of recommendation and a letter of intent are also required.
