Leading high quality sheetfed and digital printing company in the Chicago area is hiring experienced Lead Sheetfed Press Operators for 2nd and 3rd shifts.Responsibilities include : Lead press crews in the efficient operation of sheetfed offset presses.Make ready, operation and maintenance of multi unit 40" sheetfed offset press.Check print quality throughout the runs.Read and interpret job orders.Print quality products on schedule meeting or exceeding client expectations. Train press employees when requested to.Troubleshoot and provide solutions to press problems as they occur. Adhere to all SOP and quality standards.Take part in client press okays. Qualifications include : Minimum of 5 - 7 years' experience operating multi-unit 40" offset sheetfed presses such as Heidelberg, Komori, Man Roland, etc.UV experience a plus.Attention to detail and accustom to printing high quality work.Strong mechanical and troubleshooting skills required.Good eye for color and registration. Strong leadership and mentoring skills.Excellent communication skills.Team and individual contributor.Able to work 2nd or 3rd shift.
