P.M. Dishwasher
Job Summary
The Dishwasher is responsible for washing and storing all utensils, dishes, cups, pots, pans, equipment, flatware, and glassware. The ideal candidate is a positive, energetic, and a team-oriented individual.
Job Duties and Tasks
- Washes all wares in dishwashing machine or by hand.
- Polishes all silverware, platters, and chafing dishes.
- Collects trash from kitchen areas; empties garbage cans, washes, and re-lines with new bags.
- Breaks down boxes and removes to trash compactor.
- Examines garbage for silverware, dishes, and glassware.
- Washes and polishes all stainless steel in kitchen, including shelves, dish cabinets, ice machines, coffee area, refrigerators, and walk-ins.
- Washes or cleans receiving area and trash areas.
- Sweeps and mops kitchen floors.
- Stores all dishes and other wares in proper places.
- Cleans dish machine after each meal period.
- Performs other tasks such as assisting in food preparation, putting away deliveries, cleaning coolers, freezers, and storerooms.
- Completes other tasks as assigned by Executive Chef.
Requirements
- Must be able to stand for long periods of time, climb, balance, stoop, and kneel.
- Must be able to lift 30-40 pounds and move objects up to 50 pounds.
- Must be able to continually bend, reach, twist and use hands and arms.
- Must have dependable transportation.
- Must be available to work flexible hours as needed including during the week, weekends, and holidays.
- Must be dependable and a team player.
- Must pass a pre-employment background screening.

Qualifications
- Dishwashing experience in a full-service restaurant, upscale restaurant, resort, or country club is a plus.
- Ability to adapt to different situations.
- Ability to work with all staff members as a team.
- Excellent organizational skills.
- Must have open availability, including Friday, Saturday, Sunday and Holidays.
Work Location and Hours
Marietta Country Club is located at 1400 Marietta Country Club Drive in Kennesaw, Georgia 30152.
Work days are Tuesday – Saturday, 2:00pm – 10:30pm.Must be available to work weekends, holidays, and special events.
