Summary/Objective
The Front Desk Supervisor provides support for all front office staff while overseeing the day-to-day operations in the front office. In this position, the Front Desk Supervisor manages staffing and schedules, oversees all administrative staff, and ensures that all Marietta Plastic Surgery workflow processes are executed consistently and proficiently. This position identifies the developmental needs of staff and provides coaching and training to foster personal growth opportunities.

In this position, the Front Desk Supervisor manages staffing and schedules, oversees all administrative staff, and ensures that all Marietta Plastic Surgery workflow processes are executed consistently and proficiently. This position identifies the developmental needs of staff and provides coaching and training to foster personal growth opportunities.
Supervisory Responsibilities
- Oversees daily workflow of the department
- In the absence of the Practice Manager, assumes supervision of the staff
- Participates in recruiting, interviewing and selection of staff
- Recommends promotions, discipline, and other administrative actions
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Oversees day-to-day operations of the front office area and staff members to ensure smooth and efficient execution of Marietta Plastic Surgery processes
- Assists clinic staff in registering and discharging patients, payment collection, and scheduling follow-up visits within Nextech (EHR system)
- Daily duties to include but not limited to charge reconciliation of payments, counting cash drawer for accuracy and manage denominations needed for daily use, submit daily deposit if indicated, verify patient chart demographics are accurate and complete, maintain organized reception area, review, and approve location employee timecards and review scheduled EHR visits for conflicts (provider, staffing, or visit-related)
- Creates and maintains staffing schedule based on practice needs
- Provides mentoring and coaching to staff as deemed necessary
- Maintains communication with the Practice Manager to report on staff performance and any operational challenges, if applicable
- Exemplifies the desired culture and philosophies of the organization working effectively as a team member with other members of management and the clinic staff
- Traveling required amongst Marietta and Towne Lake practices
- Additional duties may be assigned as needed
- At least 1 -2 years of management experience in an ASC/office-based surgery center preferred
- Prior management in a cosmetic/plastic surgery setting preferred
- Excellent communication skills
- Fosters an environment of collaboration and respect with physician colleagues, nurses, and other healthcare team members
- Experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- BA or BS from an accredited college or university in healthcare administration, business management, or related field preferred
- Monday - Friday 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
