What are the responsibilities and job description for the Trainer position at Marijuana Doctor?
Responsibilities:
- Help develop the company’s training curriculum and train the employees in the region
- Work collaboratively with VP Operations and other trainers to create training materials
- Train newly hired employees as a critical part of the onboarding process
- Retrain employees when skill/knowledge gaps and/or performance issues have been identified by an employee’s manager working closely with the HR Generalist
- Train employees when new corporate initiatives are implemented
- Create and maintain a training schedule and communicate it to the trainees and relevant staff
- Curate training materials and periodically update as needed
- Track and monitor assessment results to ensure employee learning and subject mastery, progress, and achievement
- Reports progress of employees during training periods.
- Maintains trainee records and continuously communicates with operations on individual performance and areas of opportunity
Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of field training experience
- Excellent verbal/ written communication skills
- Strong project and time management skills
- Ability to prioritize and organize workflow and interact at a managerial level.
- Experience in creating engaging and rigorous learning activities to maximize employee retention
- Must have excellent presentation skills in the following areas: one-on-one and group facilitation.
- Experience in medical office staff/physician training would be a definite advantage
- Working knowledge of Florida medical marijuana program a plus
- Self-starter with excellent interpersonal and communication skills who possesses a strong knowledge of the subject content and can convey that knowledge effectively to the individuals they are training.
- Demonstrates a positive, upbeat, can-do attitude
- Ability to be patient and communicate respectfully in a fast-paced environment
- Strong organizational and planning skills
- High-level of self-initiative, creativity, perseverance, and flexibility
- Computer proficiency including Microsoft Office and Google Workspace
- Ability to work independently and multitask effectively
- Works well independently and with minimal supervision
- Can multitask effectively with a proven ability to manage multiple projects to a deadline

Pay: $45,232.00 - $47,137.00 per year
