General Summary
MSV is looking for a dynamic, knowledgeable, and passionate Marketing Manager to join our team. This role is integral to developing and delivering innovative digital and traditional marketing strategies designed to increase awareness, engage stakeholders, and support MSV's mission.
The Marketing Manager will play a pivotal role in amplifying MSV's voice, strengthening relationships with donors and stakeholders, and driving overall engagement. Reporting directly to the Director of Marketing, this role will oversee key initiatives that position MSV for growth and impact.
Duties & Responsibilities
Marketing Strategy :
Work closely with the Director of Marketing to refine and implement marketing strategies for MSV, with a focus on overseeing digital marketing efforts such as social media campaigns, email marketing, and online advertising. Utilize performance metrics to analyze and optimize strategies, while conducting research to identify emerging trends, opportunities, and potential partnerships to enhance MSV's reach and impact.
Brand Management :
Maintain and monitor consistent branding across all communication channels by developing and upholding comprehensive brand guidelines that reflect and reinforce MSV's identity and values.
Content Creation :
Develop compelling content for diverse platforms, including social media, the website, newsletters, and promotional materials, to effectively engage audiences. Work closely with the communications team to craft impactful narratives that showcase MSV's positive impact on families.
Social Media Management & Advertising
Establish and maintain a strong social media presence by creating and executing campaigns to boost engagement, followership, and awareness of MSV's programs, events, and fundraising efforts. Plan, optimize, and analyze social media advertising to maximize impact and reach.
Email Marketing :
Design and implement targeted email marketing campaigns to effectively engage supporters, donors, and stakeholders, utilizing audience segmentation to maximize campaign performance.
Analytics and Reporting :
Enhance MSV's online presence by improving website visibility through SEO strategies and managing paid advertising campaigns, including Google Ads, to maximize reach and impact. Track and analyze digital marketing performance, providing regular reports on key metrics and recommending strategies to enhance results.
Internal & External Community Engagement :
Foster strong relationships with internal teams, program participants, external vendors, and partner organizations while actively supporting MSV events to promote key initiatives and goals.
Job Requirements
Experience / Education
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Digital Media, or a related field.
Qualifications
Possess a strong working knowledge of online performance tools such as SEMrush, Raven Tools, or similar platforms, along with expertise in SEO, SEM, social media algorithms, and email marketing best practices. Demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills, a creative mindset, and problem-solving abilities to drive innovative digital campaigns. Proven experience in digital marketing is essential, with photography and video skills considered a plus.
Exhibit a collaborative and fun attitude, thriving in team environments while also being a proactive self-starter. This includes the ability to effectively communicate the mission to diverse audiences, multitask, prioritize tasks to meet deadlines, and creatively develop efficient systems to meet organizational and donor needs. Show attention to detail, time management, and organizational skills, along with strong business etiquette and protocol knowledge. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with development databases like Raiser's Edge is required; experience with Adobe Creative Suite is preferred. Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to provide high-quality service to a diverse clientele are crucial.
