With a strong commitment to innovation, quality, and customer satisfaction, we are seeking a highly skilled Technical Market Development Engineer to expand our market presence, drive growth, and strengthen our digital marketing efforts.

Key Responsibilities:

Sales & Business Development:

· Identify and engage potential clients in the automotive and related industries, with a focus on applications requiring aluminum die-castings and steel castings, such as engine components, structural parts, suspension systems, etc.

· Build and maintain strong professional relationships with Tier 1 and Tier 2 automotive suppliers and OEMs.

· Conduct technical presentations and product demonstrations, utilizing engineering data and specifications to highlight product advantages.

· Lead the negotiation of contracts with an emphasis on technical feasibility, cost optimization, and compliance with industry standards.

Technical Expertise:

· Provide technical consultation to customers on casting design, material selection and manufacturing processes to optimize performance and reduce costs.

· Collaborate with engineering and production teams to ensure manufacturability and compliance with industry-specific requirements like GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing), FEA (Finite Element Analysis), and PPAP (Production Part Approval Process).

· Understand and interpret customer specifications, blueprints, and 3D CAD models to align with product development processes.

· Support customers through product qualifications, validation testing, and ensuring compliance with regulatory and performance standards (e.g., ASTM, SAE).

Digital Marketing:

· Develop and manage digital campaigns to showcase Marimba Auto’s technical expertise and product range, using SEO-optimized content and targeted social media advertising.

· Leverage data-driven marketing platforms and analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, LinkedIn Campaign Manager) to assess campaign effectiveness and refine strategies.

· Create technical white papers, case studies, and video content to demonstrate the company’s capabilities in die-casting and steel casting manufacturing.

Marketing & Strategy Development:

· Conduct detailed market analysis, including benchmarking against competitors and identifying emerging technologies like thin-wall casting and lightweight alloys.

· Develop go-to-market strategies for new product lines, leveraging Marimba Auto’s advanced capabilities in multi-slide die casting and CNC machining.

· Prepare technical brochures, catalogs, and digital presentations tailored to specific customer segments, emphasizing benefits such as tensile strength, corrosion resistance, and dimensional accuracy.

Customer Support:

· Address customer inquiries with precision, offering solutions

· Assist clients in solving manufacturing challenges such as porosity issues, tooling design, and cycle time optimization.

· Ensure a seamless post-sales experience by providing guidance on product integration and long-term performance monitoring.

Reporting & Analytics:

· Prepare detailed sales and technical reports, including ROI analysis, product lifecycle costings, and customer satisfaction metrics.

· Use data and technical evaluations to forecast trends and identify new market opportunities.

Qualifications

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in mechanical, Automotive & Industrial Engineering, or a related field is required.

Experience:

  • 4 years of experience in technical sales, market development, or business development in the automotive parts manufacturing, die-castings, or steel castings industries.
  • Hands-on experience in working with manufacturing technologies such as high-pressure die casting, CNC machining, and material characterization.

Skills:

  • In-depth technical knowledge of aluminum alloys, steel grades, and casting processes.
  • Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD) and analytical tools for performance testing and validation.
  • Familiarity with industry-specific standards and practices such as IATF/TS 16949, ISO 14001, and ISO 9001.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills, coupled with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to diverse audiences.
  • Experience with digital marketing tools, CRM platforms, and data analytics to optimize lead generation and engagement.

Other Requirements:

  • Must have experience in product qualification processes, including DFMEA (Design Failure Mode and Effects Analysis) and RFQ (Request for Quotation) processes.
  • Willingness to travel to customer locations and industry events as required.
