This role is perfect for individuals who are passionate about swimming and water safety, as you will be involved in teaching classes and/or lessons. A high school diploma or G.E.D. is required, and relevant certifications such as lifeguard certification, first aid & CPR for the professional rescuer, and lifeguard instructor certification are necessary. If you don't hold a lifeguard instructor certification, one must be obtained within the first six months of hire.
Responsibilities include efficiently and confidently using rescue equipment, ensuring pool policies are followed, providing exceptional customer service, and promoting aquatic programs. You will also be responsible for completing administration tasks, attending facility staff meetings, and serving on assigned committees.
