Job Summary
The Assistant Property Manager plays a vital role in supporting the efficient management of residential and commercial properties. This position involves assisting the Property Manager with daily operations, ensuring tenant satisfaction, and maintaining property standards. The ideal candidate will possess strong relationship skills and experience with (or a keen understanding of) property management practices.
Duties
- Assist in managing day-to-day operations of the property, including rent collection, tenant relations and maintenance requests.
- Provide exceptional customer service to tenants by addressing inquiries, resolving conflicts, and fostering a positive environment.
- Maintain accurate administrative records, including tenant files, contracts, and maintenance logs. Experience with Yardi software preferred.
- Coordinate with vendors and contractors for maintenance and repairs while overseeing facilities management tasks.
- Conduct property inspections to ensure compliance with safety standards and property policies.
- Support marketing efforts to attract new tenants through effective sales strategies and community engagement.
Requirements
- Proven experience in property management or a related field is preferred.
- California Real Estate Salesperson license. May be obtained in first six months or employment.
- Excellent customer service skills with a focus on conflict management.
- Proficient in administrative tasks, including document preparation and record keeping.
- Knowledge of facilities management principles and practices.
- Experience using Yardi software is a plus.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

Pay: $20.00 - $30.00 per hour
