Job Description Summary :
Provides Radiologic examinations, including Mammography to patients under the general Supervision of the Medical Director of Imaging Services. Working under general supervision, operates radiographic equipment to produce images of the body, including Breast Imaging for diagnostic purposes. Work will include related tasks that directly support the delivery of care. To include all general mammography duties in addition to the following tasks; serve as subject matter expert for all aspects of breast imaging; to include both screening and diagnostic examinations. To both perform and train staff technologists in all advanced mammographic procedures. Serve as manager for a technologist lead quality assurance program. Provide orientation, training and feedback to all mammography technologists. Support breast center accreditation to include but not limited to MQSA and ACR.
Job Requirements, Prerequisites and Essential Functions :
EDUCATION
Education required to achieve mandatory certification
EXPERIENCE
1-year clinical experience with Mammography experience preferred
LICENSE / REGISTRATION / CERTIFICATION :
- Must hold current Certification as a Certified Radiologic Technologist pursuant to Section 30451, Title 17 California Code of Regulations
- Current certification in Mammography with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) preferred
- Current Basic Life Support Certificate

The selected candidate's compensation will be determined based on the individual's skills, experience, internal / market equity factors, and qualifications. This posted minimum and maximum range represents the minimum and maximum of what we reasonably expect to compensate for the position. Furthermore, all compensation decisions are ultimately determined in accordance with our compensation philosophy. Compensation for positions covered by collective bargaining agreements are governed by the agreements in the aforementioned document.
