Job Description Summary :

The Medical Records Coordinator is responsible for assembling patient information into patients' medical records accurately and completely. Responsible for chart migration and administrative support.

Pay Range :

22.50 - $27.00 - $31.50

Essential Functions and Responsibilities :

Responsibilities

  • Scan records into the chart
  • Filing into the EMR system.
  • Prioritizing daily tasks, and responding in a timely fashion to urgent requests.
  • Completes tasks correctly and accurately with attention to detail.
  • Confidentially maintains information.
  • All other duties as assigned.

Knowledge :

  • Knowledge of Medical Terminology
  • Experience with EPIC / APEX
  • Must have good interpersonal skills
  • Must be able to communicate clearly and positively, written, verbal, and via multi-lined telephone system
  • Ability to read, understand, and follow oral and written instruction
  • Possess excellent typing / keyboarding skills; knowledge of computer systems and applications.
  • Qualifications : Education :

  • High school diploma or General Educational Development (GED) certificate required.
  • Experience :

  • 1-2 years of Healthcare Administration experience

Furthermore, all compensation decisions are ultimately determined in accordance with our compensation philosophy. Compensation for positions covered by collective bargaining agreements are governed by the agreements in the aforementioned document."
