Retail Parts Advisor
Education & Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent (preferred)
- Previous experience in shipping and receiving (preferred)
- Prior automotive or retail parts experience (preferred but not required)
- Experience with CDK/ADP or other dealership management systems (preferred)
Skills & Qualifications:
- Basic knowledge of automotive parts and terminology
- Ability to learn parts catalog systems and dealership processes
- Comfortable using inventory and point-of-sale software (CDK experience a plus)
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills
- Effective communication and customer service abilities
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
- Valid driver’s license with clean driving record (required)
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Assist customers in selecting the correct parts and accessories
- Receive and inspect incoming shipments; verify accuracy and quality
- Stock shelves and maintain organized inventory
- Process parts orders using CDK or other DMS tools
- Work with service department to coordinate parts needed for repair orders
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of parts department
- Perform regular inventory checks and participate in cycle counts
- Deliver parts when necessary
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $22.00 - $25.00 per hour
