Environmental Associate
Our client, a mid-sized law firm, is seeking an experienced associate to join its growing Environmental Law Department. The practice focuses on environmental, health and safety matters, including compliance counseling, permitting, remedial matters, transactional work (e.g., mergers & acquisitions, due diligence), regulatory enforcement, and litigation.
Position can be based in New York City, Boston or Connecticut. Ideal candidate will have between 3-5 years of relevant experience at a law firm. Salary range for this position is $160,000 - $245,000. Actual salary will be determined based on a variety of factors.
Qualifications:
- 3-5 years of law firm experience
- Experience handling substantive court appearances and representing creditors’ committees, indenture trustees, landlords, and trade creditors in bankruptcy matters.
- J.D. from an ABA accredited law school
- Strong academic credentials
- Outstanding written and oral communication skills
- Excellent client-relations skills and a strong work ethic
- Bar admission is required in respective state
Salary : $160,000 - $245,000
